Adult only motel Not really family friendly It is a great motel for the price. Clean and quiet set up in the room is nice.
Its a small motel but its clean, affordable and 10 minutes from the San Ysidro border 5 min from playas de Tijuana 15 min to Rosarito. Cant beat that.
There is a parking garage underneath the room you stay in. Down fall is not all garages have garage doors, but a sliding curtain. There is a stairwell that leads to room from where you park your car which are steep and have the stair rails. The heater and actually are new and work great. They have diff size rooms for different prices. The beds are very big...great if your traveling with young children. You can order alcoholic drinks, regular drinks, toiletries, and food items from front desk they are a bit pricey so I suggest come prepared.
I stayed here for a week. Keep in mind that the rates are about 10$ more for weekends. Some of the rooms have an awesome view of San diego, it's right off the main highway going south to Rosarito. It's in neighborhood called Soler so on Friday's there's a huge outdoor swap meet if your into bargain shopping or antique hunting. There is room service, but the best rooms with the new appliances and really decked out rooms are suites 11, 12, 13, 14... that have their Windows facing the U.S. the rooms are about 20 bucks a night and everything is spotless. Less than a 5 min drive to downtown. But I left because they were entering my room when I would leave and were spying on my wife and I in our room.
One of the best, that price could get you. Nice rooms inside garage parking and quiet. Clean and all are aired conditioned and up to date. Love it.
It was a very good surprise to walk into one of the rooms at the price they charged. Well worth the money, and they almost always have someone that speaks English and Spanish working.
Room was nice and clean and comfy beds with ac in room. Good value Highly recommend.
It's not bad it's better pricing for longer time others motels only give you 4 hrs for about 700 pesos and yeah they are nice but el Mirador is just good for the right price around 400 pesos for 5 hrs I believe yeah it's worth it
